Just curious if anyone has an opinion on apistogramma arua ?

It is an unusual species phylogenetically. I've never known them to be imported commercially. Not a spectacularly colored species; kind of looks like a bland A. cacatuoides to me.

I didn't see them but i did see something interesting at 7:09 but no clue what species that might be.

I know zero german - despite living in vienna for a year.

Which of course are usually a little nicer then what you will see - but not sure if it has any unusual traits or behavior - if they were super aggressive like triffs or more passive.

I'm ok with subtle beauty ala gibbs which have turned out a lot nicer than i expected but i'd like some sort of extra little piza in behavior.

Unfortunately the ones jeff have are very young so a group would be required to get a mix sexes and i don't really have much in available space - maybe one more species but not sure i want to bite on these.
