Hi all,
Hi, Are there any plants in South America that stick to trees like Anubias for example?
There are hundreds of species of Aroids in S. America, probably the majority of them epiphytes (Anthurium, Philodendron, Monstera spp. would be examples), and I would think that some of them must grow in similar situations to Anubias and Bucephalandra species.

You could try the <"International Aroid Society"> to find out if any of them are commercially available (my suspicion would be that they aren't).

cheers Darrel

Mmmh.. Aroids are usually vines and need air around their roots...I do not know of one over here in Peru that grows underwater...and we have a huge collection of these here ;)

You are probably right.

I don't think that the African and Asian species like Cryptocoryne, Anubias, Bucephalandra etc. are plants that grow permanently submerged, they are just submerged during the wet season.
