The 2004 American Cichlid Association (ACA) convention is scheduled from Thursday, July 22, 2004 - Sunday, July 25th, 2004, at the Marriott Southeast in Denver, Colorado, and is hosted by the Rocky Mountain Cichlid Association.
We here at Apistogramma.com are very pleased to announce that Mag. Dr. Anton Lamboj will be featured as a keynote speaker, and he will be presenting two western African cichlid programs. The other very fine speakers and their areas of expertise include

Don Conkel - Mexican & Central American
Ad Konings - Lake Malawi
Ray Lucas - Banquet Speaker

Chuck Rambo - Rift Lakes

The convention will also feature tours of the Denver Zoo and Ocean Journey Aquarium and of the Colorado mountains, including Mt. Evans and Echo Lake. The Colorado Rockies offer among the most beautiful scenery in the country...an experience not to be missed.
The Marriott Southeast in Denver offers its guests two restaurants, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and discounted shuttle service to and from Denver International Airport (DIA). The room rate is only $75 per night plus tax.

ACA 2003 in Cincinatti was a highly successfull event. Both attendance and the number of show entries were up from previous years. With speakers the likes of Dr. Lamboj, Alf Stalsberg and North American Apistogramma guru Mike Wise, ACA 2004 promises to be a highly dwarf cichlid oriented event. I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to attend.
