Can anyone tell me if I was accidentally given two females from the pics i will post here. both photos are of different fish.

They look pretty small; but I would guess so.

They told me that because they were so young it is difficult to tell the sex and that one was in fact a male. I'm very skeptical of this after observing them more closely.
