Agassizii okay for Eclipse12?

I have a planted, several-year-old Eclipse12 that will shortly be empty. I was thinking it would be nice to have a pair of Apisto's in there with perhaps three or four pencil fish. My tap is hard/high pH but I have an dinky R/O unit for supplementing the tap water to bring it down a bit. Is the Eclipse12 going to be too small for a breeding pair? Any other suggestions? In case of problems, I have two other tanks: a 25gal long which houses a trio of A. cacatuoides and cardinals, and an Eclipse6 which has a bunch of Endler's in it.

The e12 should be OK for a breeding tank, make sure you have plenty of caves, and hiding holes. Do you have access to oak leaves, they are wonderful in a breeding tank.
