I keep C. natans, C. aquatica, C. calamistratum and a C. sp. with a shorter, spade-like leaf. They like light. They like CO2. They are tolerant of a wide range of water conditions. Toyin Ojo (Rehoboth) says that many are even suitable for brackish! I consider them to be pretty easy to grow once they get gowing. They are not super fast like an Aponogeton, but they last a lot longer.
