That is based on an obvervation of Ingo Koslowski. His fishes show a cleanig behaviour. It is described and even shown in pictures in his book.Hmmm, it's interesting to me why they are called "Cleaner".![]()

But I don't know anybody else, who have seen this behaviour yet.
Maybe Ingos fishes were another local form or species as what we call "Putzer" now. Obviously his fishes were coloured different as all Putzer, I've ever seen, but they conform in black markings and habitus.

Maybe you feed them too well & they do not need to practice cleaning other fish of parasites, or maybe there are no parasites to clean (I hope)!
