Nice couple. The female seems to be huge in size, or maybe the male is not fully grown?

the female is quite a bit older- 6 mos?- and somewhat larger than the male. as you can see, she chases him a bit. i think you can also see from the colouration of the male he has some growing and colouring out to do. they are in a 5 gal with lots of wood, i don't want to lose another male to this female.

in person the female has a reddish hue that isn't reproduced. i didn't adjust colour or sharpness at all in that pic. it is simply cropped.
