LFS has 5 very small A. hongsloi , they are almost sexable or at least best guestament. What's the retail market value on this species ? Is this species best kept in harem or pairs ?

Also , what's the difference in A hongsloi and hongsloi 2 ?

They are worth what you feel they are worth, nothing more. Price is determined by the seller. If you feel they are too expensive, don't buy. Personally, I'm always amazed at the prices of more common Rift Lake cichlids, but they sell. A. hongsloi is a fish that will happily (more or less) breed in pairs, but equally work very well in harems. It depends on the size of the tank, decor, etc. A. hongsloi is a scientific name. A. hongsloi 2 is a commercial name. There are many different domestic color strains and wild forms/species. Without seeing the fish (and even then) it would be hard to know what you're looking at.
