I saw a male in the OCA extravaganza last year and i wanted some ever since then and yesterday at a spring auction i finally got a pair the male looks like show quality. I'm hoping to spawn them. if i do spawn them what can i feed the babys i have heard they are too small for BBS but i have also heard that they can eat BBS so which is it, and if they can't eat BBS what can i feed the babies?

baby will eat bbs as soon they free swiming.

i raised many batch of borelli without any problems

ok thanks any suggestions on a good BBS hatchery my dad has one but he will be needing it for his discus once he gets his fish room done and RO system working.

also what could i put in with the A. bolleri that would not bother them and would not eat the eggs/young and would act as a clean up crew to keep the tank clean inbetween water changes.

I use the one from fightenfish, I have so many fry thou. It works best for me and i get a 90% hatch rate on the BS eggs.

ok thanks for the help right now i only have one pair of A. bolleri and a trio of A. cacatudies(sp.) but once my dad sets up his fish room he will have like 15 pair or something like that of discus and i want to get some more apistos of some kind hopefully his room gets done soon and he sets up his tanks for his discus so i know what tanks i can use for my own interests
