A. baenschi females

Hi all

I have a trio of A. baenschi in a 3+ foot tank. The dominant female has much more black on her 'chest?' and underside than the subdominant female. Just wondering if this is coincidence or an aspect of being dominant ?

Co-incidentally both spawned last weekend after a water change and now both have a group of tiny fry to lead about. Not surprisingly all other fish are in the upper water region..

I cant answer your question about marking but great news about spawning them. Congrats

They are one of my favorites and we cant get them anymore.
