Hello,

I want to try some agassizii, but I have been told some locations are harder to spawn than others. Anyone care to suggest a wild form that won't be too difficult to spawn and enjoy? I don't really like any of the red tank raised strains.

Most A. agassizii in the trade should be OK. Try any of the commercially available domestic forms and any of the wild holotype form from the Rio Solimões (western Amazon of Brazil), and the Colombian and Peruvian Amazon. You shouldn't have too many problems with the Netz/Nets form from the northern tributaries of the lower Amazon.
