I'm new here from Austria and an owner of a rio meta tank (146x22x22) with currently 20 Corydoras metae WC and an old male Apistogramma macmasteri (8 years & 8,5cm TL). In the next weeks I will finally get the new tank with 230x30x35. Planned is a stock of 30x C. metae, 30x Hyphessobrycon metae and ??x macs. The structure of the tank will be made of hardscape mainly and a few plants (Helanthium tenellum). Filtration: JBL e902 but maybe I'll switch to e1502 if the other one isn't strong enough. Water parameters will be set up with osmosis mix.
My question is now, how much macs can I keep in this tank? 6 pairs possible? Or more males or females?
