20G Hex question

A friend has fallen in love with my apisto pair, she has a 20G hex tank currently, well filtered and planted fully cycled and is now trying to decide what to stock. She is now thinking of trying apisto cacatuoides in this tank with some type of clean up fish, likely an oto. Will a 20g hex work and could she do a trio in this tank?

Well, a 20Hex is less long than a 10 gallon tank, and not much wider. To me it's a bit small, but she can try it and see what happens. I think a pair of A. borellii or A. sp. Wangenflecken would be a better fit.
