2 Apisto Pairs In a 50gal?

So Over the past two days Itried integrating my Hongsloi and Rotpunkt into my 50g. The females had a stand off but pretty much left each other alone. The males on the other hand fought constantly. So I put the rotpunkt pair back in the 30g... I read somewhere (probably here) that it's best not to add species which are too similar so was wondering what advice if any, you'd have as to what species is most likely to succeed in the set up above. I'm currently considering a Panduro or Baenschi inka but I'm open to suggestions and any advice.

I wouldn't recommend either A. panduro nor A. baenschi. Both have similar body shapes to your other species. I suggest one of the elongate forms like A. agassizii or A. bitaeniata.

From my experience. It's not always depend on similar species because my ram chasing my other apistogramma all the time.
After I put him in another tank the remaining fish is look happy but Agassizii became the rule of the tank instead.
For my trick is,
If you have 2 aggressive male,it will fight is other but if you put 1 another male. All of them are not willing to fight is other too much.
2 aggressive male

more than 2 aggressive male

PS. Inca is very aggressive fish although keeping in group (from what i had kept them)
