1 step further than a simple Gallery?

Hey guys,

The media Gallery is a good feature, but i think we should go a step further and implement a more organized gallery listed for the specific species. This could help people identify their unknown species, or just help people to get an idea of what they are likely getting from a shipment. Its hard to rely on photos on Google. It could even be organized under the species complexes etc.

Have it so members have to ask permission before uploading, to make sure the photos of the fish are under the correct heading, and to make sure the photos are good enough to be used for such purposes.
We could also have an optional experiences or comments link that people can click on to view what the uploader has to say about their fish. This way people wont be swamped in text, like a full article or something if they want to just look at photos, but they can check out some experiences if they wish.

Im sure this idea has been brought up before, but it is a valid one haha.

Thanks for the suggestion! I think it's a great one! When I put in the Gallery I didn't want to overwhelm everyone with 100 different categories so I just went with the basics. If someone wants to generate a reasonable list of good categories, I'd be more than happy to add them. I think it might also be a good idea to take photos that have been IDed in threads and upload them to the appropriate section of the gallery. This way the IDing is still done on the forums for others looking for ID info... If I'm making any sense...
