A friend of mine just spawned his Teleocichla. They spawned in our local tap water which has a pH of 7.2-7.4 and a hardness of 250ppm. So they do not soft water to spawn. I have encouraged him to write an article and to take photos. The fry should now be around 3-4 weeks old. I will keep you...
Their prices seem reasonable to me. I have met the owner, Steve Lundblad. He is for the most part, well known within the cichlid community. As a matter of fact, we have an order of fish coming in from him tonight.

Yes, these are the fish that I posted about 6 months ago. So they are P. aff. subocellatus and not the true P. subocellatus.

I am working on re-organizing my fishroom. Here is what I currently have available. Send me an email at [email protected] if you are interested. Make me an offer!
Update:
Breeding Pair of Chocolate Cichlids, Hypselecara temporalis F-1 5-7" in size $50/pr.
Hypselecara temporalis F-2...
I wish I could go but unfortunately, I cannot afford it at this time. I hope everyone that goes has a blast. I went to Peru this year and haven't forgotten the trip since I've returned.

Alright, I picked up the last two pairs of subocellatus and the reverse trio of taeniatus. A friend picked up an additional pair of subocellatus. I will keep everyone updated on how they do.
Jeremy
The P. taeniatus were smaller in size but I noticed a green tint to them along with many spots in the rear dorsal and caudal fin. I guess I know what to spend some store credit on. There were around 4 pairs of subocellatus and a reverse trio of taeniatus. I will keep everyone updated.

Do the P. sp. aff. subocellatus turn black from Nigeria or is this the variant that does not? There was only a single female taeniatus in the batch.
Jeremy
Our local fish store received a shipment of Pelvicachromis. Within the shipment there were P. pulcher, P. subocellatus and P. taeniatus. The only information I have is that they are out of Nigeria. Ideas and thoughts?
