    Eliza family

A.bitaeniata would be pretty easy to breed to. One trick is to perform a 50% water change as taught by a friend, and it worked! Seemed to trigger their spawning.

    Ketepang leaf

If you want to create that tannin effect, what you can do is to tear up the leaves into smaller pieces. And you can afford to put in 2-3 leaves for that tank size of yours. You will get that nice tea coloured water after 2 to 3 days.

    Apisto specialized shop in Sg.

There is one which houses the fishes in better conditions and that is Biotope Aquarium situated in Bukit Merah in Singapore. However, the shop is in preparation of moving to another location, so the stock in the shop is not spectacular. However, they still have 2 pairs of regional farm-bred...

Different morphs and locality of A.elizabethae

Is there a physical difference in the three morphs of A.elizabethae? I noticed that the one from Rio Uapes have a slightly deeper body compared to the ones I see from Tucano. Also, those from Tucano seems to have a "longer" face than those from Uapes. Using medeiros' picture which he...

good thing about black backgrounds is that it will bring out the colours of the photos posted. But the yellow font colours are a tad too dull, so reading can be tiring to some folks here.
