Welcome back!! I'm in Providence and currently have alacrina, wangenflecken, and baenschi and agassizzi. I have the alacrina and wangenflecken good to go if looking for some other species as well.
That's no lie, I had my extremely pregnant girlfriend helping me try to get them out. But there has to be at least 20-30 left in the tank, so I'll let nature take it's course. I was hoping that these guys would be a bit bigger before the parents laid again. But such is life.
Question, my a wangenflecken have proved to be amazing first time parents. Their fry are now two months old and the mother has laid again. Should I start removing the older fry in preparation of the new arrivals?
Any pros care to weigh in on this? I post things and seem to never get a reply from the people that are the apisto masters. I have an idea of what they are but not 100% so it would be nice to get some confirmation

There is two pots on each side of the tank and I do wanna add some leaves to the bottom. I'd like to do oak leaves just need to find some. There is just floating water lettuce, crypts and Anubias and java fern in there.
I have a harem of double red cacatoudies, recently i had added 2 new females to the initial pair i had. The pair has had many many successful spawns but the male always ate the fry. So recently ive been pulling the fry and growing them out in marina hang on breeder boxes. SO earlier this week...
