This cacatuoides female is 7 months old. She is the 1st of her 10 sisters to lay eggs. Unfortunely, white eggs :frown:

She is still in her birth tank (60l)

4 females and the 2 most beatiful males are in a 200l tank. Parents are both dead :frown:

In the big tank, 2 of the females are yellow all the time and try to attract the dominat male (both were moved 1 month ago, with same size. But the dominant is already much bigger now). I didnt notice eggs yet .... nor fry

White eggs doesn't mean infertile ones. The colour depends on what the mother have been eating. Fertile eggs can be anything from the colour of your fishes' eggs to cherry red.

Odd that she didn't lay the eggs upside-down though.

Unfertilized eggs will fungus within 24 hours and will appear even whiter than your eggs are now. The ones that don't fungus in that time are definitely fertile.

Good luck,
Lars

ooppss .... I tought it mean it. The eggs my cacatuoides females laid before were all salmon or dark pink.

It was the 1st batch from her generation. She ate it right away. I still has 11 females in this 70l tank and a single male. I was able to sell 21 males already, but the 2 only females I sent to my LFS are still there, for a month.

For the last 10 days, I have around 8 batches in this tank, two in this exactly CO2 difuser
