Yeah! I remember Ruinemans here in Europe had them listed, last year or the year before.AFAIK it was brought in only once and has since disappeared in the hobby.
Hello, there...I have wild caught and F1 Maravilha Apisto...email me at [email protected]There have been a few shipments of it in Asia over the past 2 years. A couple in Singapore and several in Hong Kong at least. I had a pair that I brought back from Hong Kong, but I lost the male when moving tanks while reconfiguring my tank rack. I'm hoping to get another male when I head to Hong Kong again shortly. They came in a month or so ago, but I'm not sure if there are any left.
They grow very large compared to most of my other apistos and the male was quite aggressive. I was pretty shocked that I lost the male and not the female.
Apologies if this has been discussed before.
Saw this post on facebook. Anyone know about A. sp Maravilha?
Looks like A.trigasciata to me in some ways.
Thanks

Thanks but I’m not keeping many fish these days as I only have two tanks.Hello there KenL...dont mean to bother you but I do have wild and F1 Maravilha Apisto...if you know anybody who wants them i have them...
I have Maravilha Apisto...I live in California...All of mines are wild caught...I have F1 now to...There was another somewhat largeish importer who brought in Maravilha besides Alex and Casey in North America, but they have since disappeared.
Rather attractive fishes when established, there were a handful of people who succeeded in breeding them and I don't doubt there must be some tank-breds floating around some clubs and groups and whatnot.
