Hi, apisto people!
First post here.
Ordered a trio of A. agassizzi, got a pair and other female looking like this. Contacted the shop, they said they are sorry but they mistakingly sent a female A.trifasciata....this is not A.trifasciata, is it? To me this looks like A.macmasteri.

Need some help...still learning Apistogramma taxonomy....
Thanks!

Welcome FredO, did she have fry in the tank you got her from?
me
Hi yukondog! I don't know, I ordered them online. They were shipped by express mail. But she has very nice colors...much nicer than the female A. agassizii!

Hi Mike, thanks for the feedback.
Yes, this is her actual shape, but they just came Thursday last week, so....

I am adding a couple more images.

Looks like Macmasteri by the red at the bottom of the caudal and ventral fins

I recently ordered an attempted pair; received 2 males. :)

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
