The are no "wild-caught Asian Rams". All wild Rams are from South America:
Mikrogeophagus ramirezi - Llanos of Colombia & Venezuela
M. altispinosus - Rio Mamoré & Guaporé of Bolivia
M. sp. Two-patch/Pindaituba - Mato Grosso of southern Brazil
"Asian Rams" are M. ramirezi that are reproduced by commerical breeders in southeast Asia.
