weird fish guy from Tucson Az

I have been on apistogramma.com just saw I never introduced my self .I have been kept tropical fish for over 45 years and have kept all kinds of cichlid but have always loved apistogramma s and dwarf cichlids I have 5 aquariums all with life plants. As well of assortment of fish other than just cichlids I have Cory cats and tetras and bristlenose plecos.I also have some dwarf cichlids that I am hoping to breed very soon I know that Az does not have a whole lot of people that keep soft water fish or dwarf cichlids but look forward to may be hearing from any one that does.

Tucson is notorious for hard water. How do you soften yours? R/O unit?

Yes I use R/O water I no choice
