Well to my surprise (somewhat), my new male German Ram spawned with a female on the 24th. Then my Bolvian Rams spawned in their seperate tank on the 25th. Unfortunately, both males ate the eggs, after a period of aggressively protecting them.
The Bolivian male and female began a very vicious fight when the male began eating the eggs. I seperated him as a result, only to find the remainder of the eggs eaten the following day by the female.
I'm thinking of removing both parents from the tank after they spawned, however I'm wondering how successful that would be for both the Bolivians and Germans. Any suggestions? Do many of you use Meth. Blue?
