Just out of press is Lamboj & Stiassny's description of three Parananochromis species from Gabon and Cameroon: P. axelrodi (Gabon), P. brevirostris (Cameroon & Gabon) and P. ornatus (Gabon).
Of the three, two are known to the hobby, more in Europe than in the US, as
P. sp. "Makokou"=P. brevirostris
P. sp. "Belinga" =P. ornatus
Photos may been seen in L&S.
P. axelrodi is a rare form that is not in the hobby, for which no photos are currently available.
Thank you.
