I just removed hundreds of spam posts in several categories here. If I have missed any, please let me know!

Just deleted a couple of dozen myself. We really do need a way to block/ban/delete by 'member' name.

I discovered what some of you may already know which is if you go the spam owners' profiles, you can "ignore" them and their posts essentially disappear. Since there are only two right in the last 24 hours, it was easy to do. Now back to reading about fish!

If you click on the member name, a popup should display. If you hover over their profile photo a link to the Spam Cleaner should pop up. You can click this link to easily and quickly ban the member and delete all their posts.

The spam cleaner option may be restricted to those with Admin rights. Doesn't seem to work for me. But it's good to know that someone can easily clean up the forum when the spamming bots discover the site.

Sorry, yes the spam cleaner is only available to admins and mods. That was directed towards Lisa and Mike. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks Josh. I've just use the ignore function. Now have a new tool.
