I'm trying to keep the spam to a minimum by checking the forums several times per day. I don't know how long I can keep this up so I'm also looking at several other options to combat the spam that gets posted.
Most options require a plugin or hack to the forum software. I'm hesitant to install any hacks or plugins because they have to be re-done everytime there is a forum update. But it may come to that.
I understand everyones frustration with the spam posts. I'd rather you send me an email alerting me of the spam and NOT post a reply to the spammer. Makes clean-up a lot easier. :wink:
And thanks to all of you who have reported spam in the past, I can't always reply to you but I remove the spam as quick as I can and appreciate the notice.

For those who don't know, you can easly report any post you feel is objectionable by clicking the triangle/alert icon to the left
