Yeah, we are loading them up on meaty foods while keeping a good eye on water quality. The pH is around 6.0 if not 5.9 right now and they have really coloured up. Penny, our Female, has turned Yellow which is a promising sign of her brooding dress. Crossing the fingers...

I noticed that you have A.agassizi 'Tefe'. Do you have any excess Females you want to part with? I'd love to get our Tefe going as well.

I just got Tefe and Fire Red Agassizi and only a pair of each.
Too soon to have bred them. They are still in quarantine period.
Want to get another couple pairs of each but this month finances are tight.
I bought a new internet ready LED HD TV and my property taxes are due. Maybe next month I can afford to get more pairs.
When I buy single pairs I Ioften loose one of the pair so I won't feel safe until I have more breeding stock.
I mostly have a good start of A. trifasciata wiith about 50 young adults.
I should have about 100 by next spring.

We are just now awaiting for Papa and Penny to "hook up" and start hopefully supplying us with Fry. Both their bellies are no longer looking sunken but as they should for Apistogramma. We will keep y'all posted.
