i saw on glaser's stock list, apisto sp cf peixoto, is anybody got information on it?

It is probably the same as A. sp. Peixoto-Azevado & A. sp. Serpa. It comes from The Rio Peixoto de Azevedo, a tributary of the upper Rio São Manuel ou Teles-Peres in central Brazil. It is rare in the hobby because it comes from an area not commonly collected commercially. Its lack of fancy fins & colors also is a reason that it is not common in the hobby.
