Hi, I'm currently stocking my 20 gallon long, heavily planted tank with Sundadanio axelrodi as future dither fish while I wait for a pair of Apistogramma agassizi 'Fire Orange' or Apistogramma bitaeniata 'Momon' to become available. The dithers occupy the mid-upper area of the tank, stick pretty close together, and are just about an inch in length.
Most of what I've read on Apistogramma agassizi, including a post here by a forum member that stocks Boraras brigittae as dithers, indicates that these should be fine. I haven't found too much information indicating one way or another on Apistogramma bitaeniata, except that housing only a pair will result in aggressive behavior. Can anyone offer their experience on either fish with small dithers?
Thanks in advance for your replies!
