Chris,

Is this the same apisto. Idon'tknowwhatitis I got from you. If so I can try to get a pic also but he is not nearly as happy as she is and stays hit a bit more.

Why yes Bev, it is the infamous Apistogramma sp. idontknowwhatitis. My male is shy to a fault. Getting a picture of him has been really tough. It may get easier once I move all of the fry out. The male looks a little tattered because she runs him off with authority.

Did you see what the other Apisto that got IDed on my other thread is? Good thing I know who has a few more local. Did the wild outcrossed couple trifas breed for you yet?

Right now I have eggs or fry from the following Apistogramma
Agassizii red
Agassizii blue
Borellii opal
Cacatuoides
Hoignei
Putumayo
Enotus orange
Mouthbrooder
Wild Agassizii flamingo

Someone is gonna need to be welding this week.

I got my deer.

Well those ap. Idontknowwhatitis are very shy. The males as least. If the female has her way there will be the pitter patter of little fins in no time. I'll work on a picture of the male but he is definately the weaker sex in this pair and stays out of her line of fire most of the time.

No those trifas haven't done anything yet but I don't think it will be long before they do.

You have me beat on the breeding for sure. I have agassizii eggs, borellii paraguay 1/2" fry and eggs, hongsloi rostrich 1/2" fry and eggs, I think the cacs may have spawned (just replaced the male I lost), and with any luck the bittaenita have or are going to. I do however have about 100 ram fry that are now eating bbs. They sure are a challenge!

I'm not sure about the mouthbrooders. They are in the tank with the angels and cory deckeri that I just got. They are about to be joined, I think, by one lone but healthy altum angel. I'm debating on that one.

Congrats on the deer. I like deer bologna ya know. Twin pines makes the best...hint hint!
