Couple months ago I bought what supposed to be trio of A. macmasteri on auction in local fish club. After while it seems that all of them grow the same, about 2". It seems that I got all males but like two color variations. Two are like Macmasteri from books, basically reddish, orange dorsal fin, top and bottom edge of caudal fin is red. Third one is different, it is generally blueish, with red dots on its face, no red color on caudal fin, dorsal fin similar in color to rest of the body. None of them have elongated fins but I guess it's because the dominant male in this tank is A. Cacatuoides which chase them all the time.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
