how do I figure out what type of rams I have? I purchased these 4 from a LFS on Saturday, yesterday I think I figured out I have 2 males and 2 females and the females have fattened up and are being chased around the tank by the males. They are all about an inch and a half long.

I agree with Matt! looks like your standard blue ram to me.

This genus is also spelled differently in different books. Some spell it Microgeophagus ; a C instead of K.

The one on the left appears to be male, and the other two female. Take a look at the previous thread on Blue Rams, and have a closer look at your fish. You should be able to distinguish between the two sexes, but sometimes it can be a pain.
