Possible tankmates for P. pulcher

I'm about ready to move my P. Pulcher pair into my 36" long tank (33 gallons), and I'm rethinking possible tankmates. It's heavily planted, so the clown pleco, 2 otos (over 5 years old now!), and 3 amano shrimp are a must for plant grooming, but I'm open to suggestions for dithers/unusual fish.

While I'd prefer to keep it as African as possible, my spouse and son like active fish or usual fish.

So, would an African butterfly fish do OK? What would make good dithers? So far, I've thought of Congo tetras but didn't know if they'd be more midwater instead of topwater and bother the kribs (platy's any good as dithers if I can't find an African dither?). I'd love some of the African glass catfish but have never seen them locally. Any ideas for fish that would do well with the kribs and be good in my tank?

Thanks,

Eric

Platies are good dithers, and they frequent all levels of the tanks. African tetras aare great if you can find them. Congos are the most available, but you can find more than a dozen different African tetras and barbs at www.rehobothaquatics.com. I like the small tetra Ladagesia roloffi. Glass cats do not move around all that much. The look cool, but I do not know how good a dither they would be. African buttlerflies are fine, but they also do not move much. If you cannot use African fish, just about any danio is perfect.

I use African tetras as dithers a lot. They look spectacular, especially if you give them enough time to mature. Ted's right: you can find a great selection at rehobothaquatics.com, including many rare species.
