The Apistogramma Macmasteri female in my tank turned orange-brown last night. When I came down to feed my fish, I did not see her anywhere. I looked everywhere in the tank. then, I saw her come out of a hole she dug underneath one of the rocks. She doesn't come out of her hole anymore and I was wondering if she has spawned.

I wouldn't be too hasty to assume that, but IMO the fish first has to have a suitable home. I suspect that the cave building is the first step.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
