What's nice is that the collecting location is only an easy 15 minute walk from the center of Pebas, in a water buffalo pasture (gotta watch out for those water buffalos, right Tom

Thanks for the replies guys,
Well, we managed to get some cacatoides form the suppliers, I'll get them instead of the pebas, I've never had apistos so I would rather start with the cacs as they seem to be the starter apisto. I've also ordered some vielfleck, hopefully they make it. I'm still doinf 50/50 Ro water changes so hopefully everyone will be happy.
I'll post some pics when they arrive, can't wait, I've been looking for apistos forever LOL
Here is a pic of the tank for the cacs, I still need to add some pots and I'm waiting for the carpet plants to do their thing.
I've got 3 weeks left and the tank should be ready by then The tetras will be moved.

Unfortunately I will not be getting apistos anytime soon.
We could not get decent rates on airfreight from Hungary to South Africa. The reason is all the crap happening in the middle east, our local airport (OR Tambo) is now rated as "high risk" so that puts an end to my apisto experience before it started..
Maybe I should look into becoming an river bank bum in South America LOL
