A. sp. Emerald is indeed a form of A. geisleri: A. cf. geisleri (Smaragd), originally collected somewhere NW of Santarém (Óbidos? Alenquer?).

A. sp Cristal from Rio San Alejandro is a commercial name that I've never seen before. It could be anything.

So this guy mixed in with "normal" looking cacatuoides:

Is that the same locational type? Or does he need the orange/brown in the fins?

I bred smaragd back in 1997. I think I have a pic of my female around someplace. Very nice males, they have a lovely green color in spawning dress.

I haven't even seen smaragd since I bred them. I think I may order some too. The christal are a nice fish, but a cac none the less so I'll pass. Good luck with yours though!

Jeff, it is almost impossible to determine based solely on color. Based on the slender body form and coloration, it reminds me of the population, A. cf. cacatuoides Putumayo. I can't be certain. It is possible that it was found at the exporter among some "A. cruzi" (A. sp. Putumayo) and added to a tank of cacatuoides. I just don't know.
