Hi all this is my spawn from a Taeniatus 'Nigerian'.. At first i thought they may be an aquarium strain but they are looking more and more like the 'Isokpo strain shown in Lamboj's book 'The Cichlid fishes of western africa' P188 top photo.
Does anyone agree??
Mine are slightly less colourful but the tank glass is slightly tinted(Dont ask!! they were cheap for the fishroom and i dont really like the glass,i bought four..) and the lighting is not top notch. They are under a very dim shop light(yellow) on the bottom shelf in the fishroom.
