Papagei?

Hi there!
A while ago I bought some papagei but I'm not quite sure the male is one.
The female has a double caudal spot as we can expect with papagei.
The male does not show this spot as good as the female.
Today I took the liberty to tease the male so maybe it could show the spot I was looking for. It did not.
What do you think?

The couple have paired up and already spawned one time with no succes.

Yes, on color - and the lack of any design on the caudal fin.
