Hi everyone, first of all thanks for all the replies you gave us with advice. Just thought we'd share our pics of firstly the cacutoides batch that was the gold x normal brood... and also a new acquisition of ours - an Apistogramma agassizi 'Red'... Any extra tips on breeding the aggies would be much appreciated.

Nice fish. The difference between breeding agassizii and cacatuoides is not all that great. You obviously have had luck with cacatuoides, so you are half way there. I don't know what the conditions the water that you are using are, but slight manipulation should do the trick. Try 6.0ph, 2 -3GH/KH, and 78-80 d temp. Regular water changes go without saying!

Sorry Neil about the large pics... Thanks for the tips, yup i've just found a good source of live daphnia so I'm attempting to culture it now. The apistos have grown nice and fat on it and hopefully will do the deed soon.
