Hi Apisto-friends!
I’m the lucky owner of 1 male and 2 female A. nijsseni (bought as being wild). One of the females does only have one spot (on the right side – left side spot is missing). I know that this phenomenon exist, but does it also appears by wild caught nijsseni? The “one spot” female did breed ones and the female offspring (only one) had two spots as normal.
What do you think! – could this “one spot” female be a wild catch or was I cheated on?
Is the one spot phenomenon also seen by wild caught nijsseni?
I hope you can help me.
Thank you.
