These are a couple of my nijjensi f1 frys with a few comments (none of hte pictures are very good):
my one sided spot female:
As you can see one side is missing the spot.
This odd duck i swore was a male - it is as large as the largest male (around 2 inches) and originally i moved it to the 20 long with a positive male but since i thought it might be a male in disguised i moved it back to the 29 with 7 other frys and moved another but smaller positive female. These 'frys' are around 1.3 years old so it has taken a while for them to grow up with the smallest one likely a female still well under an inch:
there were two reasons i thought this was really male - it quickly and early develop an orange ring around the tail the females aren't showing yet and raw size; also the petra fins didn't look quit right:
anyway there is only one male in the 29 (i think) and 6 ladies so maybe someone will find him appealing.
