While I've got lots of apistos that have spawned I have never tried any of the westies. A friend gave me two pairs of Nanochromis Transvestitis.
I was in the fishroom yesterday relocating babies to new tanks when I noticed the female of one of the pairs in the coconut cave. I took a peek in and there are eggs.
It's always exciting when something new spawns for the first time.
These are really pretty little fish and shy except at feeding time when they are plastered shamelessly against the front of the tank.
