Hello everyone.
I'm somewhat new to the hobby and my interest for dwarf cichlids is growing by the minute. I was given a 27G Marineland Cube (20x18x20) as a gift. I'm interested in making this a Dwarf Cichlid Pair tank and was wondering if this would be an ideal size to keep a pair of Apistrogramma Cacatuoides.
I live in Houston, TX. The PH level in my tap water is in the 7.6-7.8 range. I'm not 100% stuck on the Cacatuoides but definitely would like to introduce a pair of dwarf cichlids to this tank. I'm looking for a fish that adds some color and aren't always hiding.
If you were in my shoes, with a 27G Cube tank and you must have a pair of Cichlids, what would be your ideal setup?
I would love some ideas on what pair of Cichlid you would have considering the tank size and what type of environment would you provide for them.
Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.
