New to apistos but not to fish keeping

Recently my LFS just got in some borelli a and agazzi and I was immediately interested so after some reading I grabbed a pair for my 40g breeder tank to try them out. Has a decent amount of live plants and some driftwood in there. Currently there are 4 rainbows that will be moved today/ tomorrow along with a cave or two for hiding/breeding but I'm pretty excited to see what happens. Will be my first tank keeping smaller fish but the change will be nice. Water perams are as follows.

Kh- 0
Nitrites and ammonia-0
Nitrates stay below 20 usually with weekly water changes.

Good choice. They should do well in that tank.

Hope so! Grabbed another female today and removed the rainbows. I'll give it some time now and wait to see what happens! One cave was added semi hidden by plants. May add another! Fingers crossed
