New tank

Hi there,
I'm about to start a new 57g planted tank (60x60x60). It will have only american dwarves cichlids
I need your advice about how many species (which do you recommend?) and how many fish of them can I put in my new tank.

Depth of the tank is not important for dwarf cichlids, only bottom surface area. A 60x60 cm (24 x 24") bottom can probably handle at least 2, maybe 3 pairs of apistos, but it depends on the species & how the tank is decorated. In the wild many male apistos will control areas much larger than this.
