Hi all, just got back into hobby 6 months ago after 10 years. Very excited by the availability of appisto sp. I'd never seen in UK suppliers before.

Welcome! I'm also in Manchester (Urmston).
I don't have any apistos but do have breeding pairs of Dicrossus Filamentosus and Pelvicachromis subocellatus 'moanda' and have bred several catfish species too.
Our water here is great for Apistos!

Thanks Mol, you're right the water is spot on, very little work needed. Three different apistos bred already in my 450l community tank, hoping to set up some breeding tanks when I get back of hols.
