Hello all,

just joined the forums here and thought I would pop on and say hello. I currently do not have any Apisto's but my 65 gallon tank is ready and waiting for a few pairs of them.

Are there any other members from Canada on here (for future reference)?

Indeed there are!! There are a few of us Canucks kickin around. I personally am also in Toronto for the time being but I head back to Vancouver pretty shortly for school. As far as LFS's here I would definitely suggest Menagerie on Parliament, south of Bloor. They have knowledgeable staff and at least one apisto-nut working for them. I also believe that they are willing to do special orders/requests there. I'm not 100% on that, so don't quote me!! But they do bring in some apistos (they did have some Hongsloi and Viejita earlier in the year) but I do not know what they've got right now. You will find a wealth of knowledge here and great help. Believe me I know Harold over there quite well and that is the local store for me, however good to know that his reputation is spreading. I was more looking for a few Canucks on here so that if I am looking for something specific sometime I know where to find them...

I have a few apistogrammas myself too. I took the plunge and imported 4 species of WC apistogramma directly from Peru. Would anyone be interested?
