new in "town"

Hey everybody!

I'm new at this hobby and like to ask several questions.

what would be the ideal setup for apistogramma in general. that is what colour of sand should I use?
what plants I can use (for a beginner (and who is not so demanding)) so they feel at home?
root og rocks?
I got a 75l tank (around 15-20gal) and like also have other fish with them then what type of fish is realy nice? I've been told to have atlesat 8 neon or cardinal tetras cose they are mid tank swimers but most of the time apistos r bottom dwellers.
can I have dwarf corys also and how many can I have in that size of a tank???

the filteration will be an outer filter (eheim profesionel 2224) so I guess the water will be realy clear at all times or wont it.

the apisto I like is borelli "opal" and I can get them here in Iceland or atleast special order them.

so plz help me getin the hang of it and be come "master" at start

Morning,

I have learnt from my 25years in aquarium hobby, if you add other ground dwellers like Cory, make sure that you offer the apistos and cory enough caves and alternates, so they do not compete for space and also food, as both are bottom feeders as such. cheers and have fun
